On May 14, at the Spring General Meeting, local residents elected a new Sabin Community Association Board of Directors. The “changing of the guard” will take place on July 1.  I am pleased to say that this new board is as capable and committed as ever to continuing to make Sabin a wonderful place.  At the same time, it saddens me to say that I have decided to step down as president to spend more time with my family. My time on the board has been both challenging and rewarding, and I urge everyone to get involved in the neighborhood association system. It’s a great way participate in worthwhile projects and work with a group of smart, dedicated people. I am excited and proud of the work we have done, but there is definitely plenty left to do.

Elections for the SCA Board of Directors will take place at the May 14 meeting.  There are many openings this year, so it is a wonderful opportunity to get involved with neighborhood issues that you care about and to network with fellow, talented Sabinites working to make our community even greater.
