Sabin Community Yard Sale
Saturday June 1st 2024 9am

The SCA coordinates a neighborhood-wide yard sale on the first Saturday in June.  Please join us in putting out items for sale that you’d like to move along to a new home at a fair price.  This is not a fundraiser! You keep the money!

The sale is "Rain or Shine".

REGISTRATION IS CLOSED!

Please fill out the form below to join the sale.

All Sabinites who would like to participate can receive a lawn sign after registration.

We will support participating homes by...
  • delivering a lawn sign to your home (except if we've run out, but you can download and post the PDF of the sign)
  • adding your home to the map and list that will be available on this page
  • spreading the word to our Sabin neighbors and fellow Portlanders
  • coming around and getting the signs after the sale

We ask that participants help us by...
  • publicizing the sale by creating a Craigslist Ad a week before (we'll link to the ad from your listing)
  • setting the sign on the side of your home after the sale so that we can come collect it and use it again next year  PLEASE DON'T THROW AWAY YOUR SIGN :)

We will also reach out to print media, social media, and other online communities to let our fellow thrifty Portlanders know about the opportunity for great Sabin finds on the first Saturday in June.

Have a Yard Sale Block Party!

We encouraging blocks that have several participating sales to get a City of Portland Block Party permit in order to close the street.

The application process takes 5 minutes.  Closing your street for the sale consists of rolling a few "rolly bins" to each end of your block, put a sign on it and close your street for the duration of the sale.
